Bridgett Miller: Connecting Developmental Science with Conscious Parenting

November 30, 2018

Bridgett MillerWe’re thrilled to announce that we are working with Bridgett Miller, who specializes in conscious parenting using principles of developmental science, on her first book. Certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education and with a background in education, special education, and psychology, Bridgett has been teaching and working with children in preschools and kindergartens for over two decades. Her approach has always been rooted in the understanding that children are creatures of connection—not of textbook—and her focus is on uncovering what drives their behaviour so that adults can meet their needs with deeper awareness. She supports parents by helping them align their child-rearing practices with their intentions and addressing their concerns in ways that help cultivate a long-term and loving relationship between parent and child. Aside from offering workshops and private consultations, Bridgett is also an authorized facilitator of the Neufeld Institute, and assists Dr. Deborah MacNamara, with facilitating the Neufeld: Making Sense of Preschoolers course.
