December 14, 2018

Bruce TriggsWe’re thrilled to announce that we’re working with accordion historian Bruce Triggs on his upcoming book about the hidden history of the squeezebox in North America. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Bruce has co-hosted the Accordion Noir show on Co-op radio for the last twelve years. He helps behind the scenes at the annual Accordion Noir Festival, produces the Accordion Uprising blog, and contributes at least half of the posts on #AccordionTwitter. His forthcoming book includes over forty-five historical illustrations and unveils the vibrant backstory of the squeezebox from the time of the Industrial Revolution to the Rock ‘n’ Roll upheaval of the 1960’s. The book will be available in the summer of 2019.
